Known for her activism against Female Genital Mutilation, a cause deeply tied to her personal history, Bekelech is also a passionate advocate for women’s rights and environmental protection.

This is why she incorporates recycled materials like cardboard and textiles in some of her works, aiming to highlight the issue of pollution and its impact, especially on women across the globe.

As a lover of the oceans and an activist for marine life protection, Bekelech has decided to join ALMAR, dedicating a percentage of the sales from her painting series titled OCÉANO to support conservation projects.

Through her art, Bekelech seeks to express her love for the sea and contribute to the mission of protecting the oceans and their creatures. Her work reflects the strength and energy channeled toward causes that inspire positive change.
